Unable to fetch status of the VM in SolusVM 2

Symptoms

Unable to see the status of a VPS in SolusIVM 2 > Virtual Servers - it is always Offline, but its running on the CR.

On the affected Compute Resource the following is found in/var/log/solus/agent.log

CONFIG_TEXT: ERRO[2025-03-31 18:34:23]/usr/src/agent/pkg/libvirt/proxy.go:101 agent/pkg/libvirt.StartLibvirtProxy.func1.1() Failed to handle connection to Libvirt proxy from "15.204.37.85:38739": handshake with client: invalid auth request

Cause

The Libvirtd was inactive on the CR

# systemctl status libvirtd
○ libvirtd.service - libvirt legacy monolithic daemon
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/libvirtd.service; enabled; preset: disabled)
Active: inactive (dead)
TriggeredBy: ○ libvirtd.socket
○ libvirtd-ro.socket
○ libvirtd-admin.socket

Resolution

Start thelibvirtd service:

1. Access the affected Compute Resource over SSH.

2. Start the libvirtd service

   # systemctl start libvirtd
