Unable to add Compute Resource to SolusIO: the number of cores on compute resource is greater than available in the license

Symptoms 

• Unable to add Compute Resource to SolusIO:
  

  SVM_ERROR: the number of cores on compute resource is greater than available in the license 32/16

Cause

SolusIO incorrectly counts physical CPU units.

This is a bug #SIO-1808 which was fixed in SolusIO version 1.1.10029

Resolution

Update SolusIO to the latest mainline version
