How to update payment method from PayPal Basic to something else ?

Answer

The 1st most important step is to CANCEL the current subscription in your PayPal settings following our guide here: How-to-cancel-PayPal-automated-payments-for-SolusVM-1-and-2-license 

Afterwards update your payment method to Debit/Credit Card in order to continue with smooth experience.

Note: If you wish to use only PayPal as payment method, simply wait for your next invoice after you have canceled your subscription and chose the new PayPal option as shown below
