How to disable automatic invoice payment with Credit balance in WHMCS?

Answer

By default, any available credit on an account will automatically apply to new recurring invoices when the system generates them.

You can disable this as well by navigating: 

1. Configuration > System Settings > General Settings
2. Select the "Credit" tab
3. Uncheck the "Automatic Credit Use" setting
