Unable to configure SolusVM WHMCS module: invalid ipaddress

Symptoms

  1. Unable to Configure SolusVM WHMCS module in WHMCS > Setup > Products/Services > Products/Services > a product > Module Settings - the following error is shown:

    SVM_ERROR: invalid ipaddress

  2. Creation of SolusVM VPS in WHMCS fails with:

    SVM_ERROR: cannot create client

Cause

An incorrect IP address is used for SolusVM API user.

Resolution

  1. Login to SolusVM master web interface.

  2. Open SolusVM > Configuration > API Access > Edit API User.

  3. Edit IP address for API user - it has to be IP address of WHMCS server.

  4. Click on Update API user.
