Module Settings of solusvmpro module are empty in WHMCS: no api users found

Symptoms

1. Module Settings of solusvmpro module are empty in WHMCS:

2. In SolusVM > Logs > API Logs the following error is found from IP address of WHMCS server:

   SVM_ERROR: no api users found

Cause

Incorrect Username and Password in WHMCS > Settings > Servers > SolusVM Master > Server Details.

Resolution

1. Access SolusVM administrator interface.

2. Open SolusVM > Configuration > API Access > Add API User:

   How to add API user?

   

3. Type IP address of WHMCS server in IP Address section and copy ID and Key values. Click on Add API user.

4. Open:

   For WHMCS 7:

   WHMCS > Setup > Products/Services > Servers > Edit Server next to SolusVM Master.
   

   For WHMCS 8:

   WHMCS > Settings > System Settings > Servers > Edit Server next to SolusVM Master.
   
   

5. In Server Details section add ID from step 3 as Username and Key as Password and click Save Changes.
