After SolusIO VPS deployment the CD with Cloudbase-init config is still mounted into VPS.

Symptoms 

After VPS deployment in SolusIO the CD containing cloudbase-init/cloud-init configuration is still mounted into VPS.

Cause

SolusIO bug #SIO-2001 which was fixed in SolusIO version 1.1.18616

Resolution

Update SolusIO to the latest mainline version.

If the update is not the option at the moment please use the below workaround:

Workaround
  1. Connect to Compute Resource where the affected VPS is hosted via SSH
  2. Unmount the CD with the config manually:

    # virsh attach-disk UUID "" hdb --type cdrom --mode readonly

    Note: replace UUID with the actual VPS UUID. The VPS UUID can be found on VPS page at SolusIO > Virtual Servers > VPS
