How to change the VPS resource plan in SolusVM 2?

Answer

There are two options to change the resources of SolusVM 2 VPS:

Changing only CPU and RAM of VPS - without disk resize

  1. Login to the SolusVM 2 administrator area.

  2. Open Virtual Servers > Required VPS > Resize.

  3. Select the option CPU and RAM only.

  4. Select the plan with the required resources.

  5. Click on Resize. Then click on Resize again to confirm.

Changing CPU, RAM, and Disk size

  1. Login to the SolusVM 2 administrator area.

  2. Open Virtual Servers > Required VPS > Resize.

    SVM_WARN: It is not possible to decrease the size of the disk - plans with lesser size will not be available for selection.

  3. Select the plan with the required resources.

  4. Click on Resize. Then click on Resize again to confirm.

SVM_WARN: VPS will be automatically stopped to apply changes. At the moment it is required to manually start VPS after 2-3 minutes.
