Unable to configure PowerDNS in SolusIO: Error: Can't connect to the DNS server Failed to decode payload: cURL error 3

Symptoms

Unable to configure PowerDNS in SolusIO with the below error on the page SolusIO > Settings > DNS:

SVM_ERROR: Error: Can't connect to the DNS server Failed to decode payload: cURL error 3: (see https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html) for http://203.0.113.2:0/api/v1/servers/localhost

Cause

Incomplete PowerDNS configuration - the Port is not mentioned for the PowerDNS server in SolusIO

Resolution

1. Log in to the SolusIO admin panel
2. Navigate to Settings > DNS
3. Specify the PowerDNS server port
4. Click Save
