Error while installing SolusVM Slave on the KVM node: failure: repodata/repomd.xml from centos-qemu-ev: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try

Symptoms

Installation of SolusVM KVM Slave software fails with the following error in console:

failure: repodata/repomd.xml from centos-qemu-ev: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

Cause

Misconfigured repositories

Resolution

1. Connect to the slave node via SSH
2. Execute the following commands to install necessary packages and update system configuration files:

   # yum install -y coreutils
   # echo 'centos' > /etc/yum/vars/contentdir

3. Run install procedure once again
