How to add an ISO to SolusVM?

Answer

  1. Connect to Master server over SSH.

  2. Upload an ISO image to /home/solusvm/kvm/iso/, for example:

    # wget https://mirror.nsc.liu.se/centos-store/6.4/isos/x86_64/CentOS-6.4-x86_64-minimal.iso -O /home/solusvm/kvm/iso/CentOS-6.4-x86_64-minimal.iso

  3. Log in to SolusVM web interface.

  4. Open Media > Add ISO.

  5. Select the necessary settings and click on Add ISO:

    • Type - OS image.

    • Name and Description of the ISO.

    • Select the necessary ISO from iso list.

    • Set Status as Active.

    • Select architecture in Arch list - for modern OS it will be x86_64.

  6. Open Media > Media Sync > Create.

  7. Select the ISO image and the node where VPS from the ISO will be created:

  8. Click on Create Sync Job.
