Installation of SolusVM fails: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again

Symptoms 

Installation of SolusVM fails:

CONFIG_TEXT: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again

Cause

Repository epel is misconfigured or unavailable at the moment and it prevents downloading of packages from SolusVM repositories.

Resolution

1. While you are in bash command line, disable epel repository by the command below:

   # mv /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo{,.bkp}
   # mv /etc/yum.repos.d/epel-testing.repo{,.bkp}

2. After that try initiate installation once again.
