Unable to install SolusVM KVM Node: Failed to execute /usr/local/solusvm/tmp/update/update: failed

Symptoms

• Unable to install SolusVM KVM Node on AlmaLinux 8/CentOS Stream 8/CentOS 8 servers with the error:
  

  # curl -o installer https://files.soluslabs.com/solusvmphp7/install/installer && chmod +x installer && ./installer
  ...
  FATA[2021-09-15 16:09:32] Failed to install slave node software: Failed to execute /usr/local/solusvm/tmp/update/update: failed

Cause

SolusVM bug with ID SVM-3303 that has been fixed in version 1.25.28.

Resolution

Update SolusVM to the latest mainline version.
