Symptoms

Upgrade to PHP 7.4 fails on SolusVM nodes with the following error:

CONFIG_TEXT: Error: Package: svmstack-php7-7.4.23-1.el7.solusvm.x86_64 (solusvm-2-stack-base)
Requires: libonig.so.5()(64bit)
Error: Package: svmstack-php7-7.4.23-1.el7.solusvm.x86_64 (solusvm-2-stack-base)
Requires: oniguruma

Cause

'epel' repository is disabled or not installed.

This is SolusVM bug #SVM-3323 which was fixed in SolusVM version 1.25.29

Resolution

Update SolusVM to the latest mainline version.
