Unable to remove backups from SolusIO

Symptoms 

• Backups are not removed from SolusIO despite the message "The backups were deleted" is displayed
• Unable to delete the Backup Node:
  

  SVM_ERROR: You cannot delete Backup Nodes while it has backups

• The backup directory is NFS share

Cause

NFS share is inaccessible

Resolution

1. Log in to the affected Backup Node server via SSH
2. Unmount the NFS share
   

   # umount /mnt/storage

3. Proceed with the deletion of the Backup Node
