SolusIO VPS delete failed: creating snapshots for storage type "lvm" is not supported yet

Symptoms

VPS deletion task fails in SolusIO with the error:

SVM_ERROR: failed to delete virtual server "8f6d2838-bf76-4ff4-8042-47121cd9147d": failed to delete snapshots: failed to get snapshoter: creating snapshots for storage type "lvm" does not supported yet

Cause

SolusIO bug with ID #SIO-3656 which was fixed in SolusIO version 1.1.20846

Resolution

Update SolusIO to the latest mainline version.
