What does the warning in SolusVM mean:

SVM_WARN: This installation may have domain resolving issues. Please contact SolusVM support.

Answer

The warning means connection issue between SolusVM master node and licensing server.

Master node should meet the following requirements to be able to connect to licensing server:

  1. soluslabs.com is available from master node:

    # ping -c 4 soluslabs.com
    PING soluslabs.com (195.214.233.168) 56(84) bytes of data.
    64 bytes from soluslabs.com (195.214.233.168): icmp_seq=1 ttl=52 time=90.5 ms
    64 bytes from soluslabs.com (195.214.233.168): icmp_seq=2 ttl=52 time=90.3 ms
    64 bytes from soluslabs.com (195.214.233.168): icmp_seq=3 ttl=52 time=90.5 ms
    64 bytes from soluslabs.com (195.214.233.168): icmp_seq=4 ttl=52 time=90.5 ms

    --- soluslabs.com ping statistics ---
    4 packets transmitted, 4 received, 0% packet loss, time 3095ms
    rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 90.382/90.495/90.549/0.308 ms

  2. There are not firewall rules blocking connection to soluslabs.com on TCP port 443

Note: Warning disappears within 24 hours from the moment when the license server is available from Master node.
