Unable to add reverse DNS record in SolusVM: Please configure your DNS servers

Symptoms

Unable to add reverse DNS record in SolusVM > IP Blocks > Manage IP's next to the necessary block > Reverse DNS next to the necessary IP Block:

SVM_ERROR: Please configure your DNS servers

Cause

PowerDNS server is not selected for the necessary IP Block.

Resolution

1. Login to SolusVM administrator interface.

2. Open IP Blocks > Edit Block next to the necessary block.

3. Select configured PowerDNS master in PowerDNS Server field.

4. Click on Update Block.
