The Rescue Mode feature is absent in the SolusVM Client Panel

Symptoms 

  • The Rescue Mode feature is absent in the SolusVM Client Panel 
  • The template used for the Client Panel is different from the "bootstrap" in SolusVM > Configuration > Settings > Customization > Client Template, e.g. "enhanced":

Cause

This is by design for the enhanced and cleanblue templates.

Resolution

Use the Bootstrap template - it is more up-to-date and has more features including displaying the Rescue Mode and noVNC Console.

Switch it like below:

  1. Log in to the SolusVM admin panel.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Customization > Client Template.
  3. Choose the bootstrap template in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Update button.
