How to customize plan resources on VPS creation via SolusIO WHMCS provisioning module

Answer

In order to customize plan resources during VPS creation it is necessary to setup corresponding Configurable options in WHMCS and associate them with the corresponding product

1. Login to WHMCS admin panel
2. Browse to WHMCS > Settings > System Settings > Configurable Options
   
3. Click Create a New Group
    
4. Specify the Group Name and Description(optional) and click Save Changes
   
5. Click Add New Configurable Option
6. In the pop-up windows do the following:
   • specify specific plan parameter in Option Name field. SolusIO provisioning module allows to customize VCPU, Memory, Disk Space, Total traffic limit monthly (for KVM and VZ), VCPU Units, VCPU Limit, IO Priority, and Swap (for VZ). For each parameter there should be a separate Configurable Option
   • Set Option Type as Dropdown
   • Specify the values in format 'value|description'. For example:
      

   Note: for the Memory and the Swap value should be in MiB (e.g. 4096|4 GiB).
   for the Disk Space - in GiB (e.g. 20|20 GiB).
   for the Total traffic limit monthly set in units, which are specified in the Total Traffic limit option of the plan selected in Module Settings of a product in SolusIO (e.g. 1|1 GiB if the Total Traffic limit unit is GiB or 1024|1 Gib if the Total Traffic limit unit is MiB):
   

7. Assign the Configurable Options with the corresponding product in Assigned Products field by clicking on the product in the list:
