Installation broken on Debian Buster
Hi there,
i tested the initial setup on a debian 10 machine with your installer. It is a complete desaster and nothing works. Used a bare metal machine, fresh debian install.
The applied rules to firewalld are borked. After starting firewalld the host ist offline (no route to host).
The installer cannot complete due to not starting containers in docker stack and crashes.
The installer does detect cloud-init but if it is installed but disabled, the installer remains in a loop of death and has to be killed.
The installer allows to enter an ip address for host addressing, but fails in gathering a Let's encrypt certificate - because IP adresses are not allowed for certifcates. Why is this not catched?
The purge function of the installer works fine, at least.
How to submit logfiles for further information?
Kind regards,
Holger

IP address is allowed as a SolusIO host during initial installation for more flexibility. In some cases, hostname can be not defined during deployment and considered to be changed further.
If there are several issues and question arise I suggest you submit a ticket to support https://support.solus.io/hc/en-us/requests/new
Use license key during ticket submission that looks like SIO.XXXXXXXX
