Easily view Top 5–10 VMs with highest resource usage

Description:

Add the ability in SolusVM 2.0 to quickly identify which virtual machines are using the most resources (CPU, RAM, Disk I/O, Network). At present, admins need to run manual commands or use third-party monitoring tools to find high-usage VMs, which slows down troubleshooting.

Benefits:

• Saves time when diagnosing high load on a node.

• Improves visibility into VM resource consumption.

• Helps prevent one VM from degrading performance for others.

• Reduces reliance on external monitoring tools.

Example Use Case:

When a host node experiences high load, the admin can open the Node → Resource Usage → Top VMs page to see the top 5–10 VMs by CPU, Memory, Disk I/O, or Network for a selected timeframe (e.g. live, past hour, past 12 hours, past 24 hours). This makes it easy to identify problem VMs and take action quickly.
