Symptoms
- On attempt to connect to noVNC console, the error 1006 occurs.
- SSL is configured properly and browser does not show any warnings.
- In browser's console (F12) the following error can be found:
SVM_ERROR: WebSocket connection to 'wss://node.example.com:7706/?token=1297-c489898aa768ba76cc6e3ef7b4a43e72e98c5578' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
Cause
Hostname cannot be resolved.
Resolution
Add an A record for the hostname in DNS registrar console.
Note: if hostname is looking incorrectly, e.g. 'localhost', change it at Nodes > List nodes > Edit node page.
