Symptoms
Unable to install updates/packages on Centos/OpenVZ 6 SolusVM slave node:
CONFIG_TEXT: YumRepo Error: All mirror URLs are not using ftp, http[s] or file.
Eg. Invalid release/repo/arch combination/
removing mirrorlist with no valid mirrors: /var/cache/yum/x86_64/6/base/mirrorlist.txt
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: base
Cause
Centos 6 reached its End of Life in Nov 30th, 2020. All Centos 6 repositories were deprecated.
Resolution
The recommended way is to migrate Centos/OpenVZ 6 to Centos/OpenVZ 7 server.
