Symptoms
Additional administrator user is unable to change his own password if Edit permission for Admin ACL is disabled at SolusVM > Configuration > Administrator ACL > Edit page of additional administrator:
Cause
SolusVM bug #SVM-2855 which was fixed in SolusVM version 1.25.10
Resolution
Update SolusVM to the latest mainline version.
If the update is not the option at the moment use the below workaround.
Workaround
- Connect to SolusVM master node via SSH as root
- Run the following command:
# php /usr/local/solusvm/scripts/pass.php --type=admin --comm=change --username=<ADMIN_USERNAME>
If you do not have root SSH access, contact the main Admin user.
