Symptoms

KVM VPS created from a single partition template is started with error:

CONFIG_TEXT: no bootable device.

Cause

SWAP was assigned to VPS during its creation, which is not supported for single partition templates.

Resolution

Recreate VPS without SWAP:

1. Login to SolusVM admin interface.

2. Remove VPS via Virtual Servers > Remove VPS.

3. Create a new VPS via Add Virtual Server - leave Swap field empty.
