Symptoms 

Unable to create/edit email template in SolusVM:

CONFIG_TEXT: Call to undefined function get_magic_quotes_gpc() in /usr/local/solusvm/includes/database.php:488

Cause

SolusVM bug with ID #SVM-3806 which was fixed in SolusVM version 1.28.25

Resolution

Update SolusVM to the latest mainline version
