Is netfilter module automatically enabled for new SolusVM OpenVZ containers?

Answer

netfilter is enabled by default for newly created SolusVM OpenVZ nodes starting from SolusVM mainline version 1.24.15.

For already existing node:

1. Connect to the slave node over SSH.

2. Open configuration file /etc/vz/conf/ve-vswap-solus.conf-sample with a text editor.

3. Add the following line at the end of the file:

   CONFIG_TEXT: NETFILTER="full"
