OpenVZ VPS migration fail in SolusVM: cannot open 'root@203.0.113.2' for reading: No such file or directory

Symptoms 

  • OpenVZ VPS migration fail in SolusVM.
  • The following error in the migration log file(log file path is displayed at SolusVM > Virtual Servers > VPS > Migration) on the destination node:

    CONFIG_TEXT: vzctl exec 101 mounttail: cannot open 'root@203.0.113.2' for reading: No such file or directory

Cause

 The VPS is in suspended status which prevents migration.

Resolution

  1. Log into SolusVM admin panel
  2. Unsuspend the VPS at SolusVM > Virtual Servers > VPS:
    ______.JPG
  3. Start migration again at SolusVM > Virtual Servers > VPS > Migrate
    ______.JPG
