SolusVM OpenVZ VPS created under reseller does not automatically start and missing several options in its configuration

Symptoms

  • SolusVM OpenVZ VPS created under reseller does not automatically start and missing several options in /etc/vz/conf/VMID.conf:

    CPULIMIT is missing
    CPUS is missing
    DISK is missing
    NAMESERVER is missing
    HOSTNAME is missing

  1. Value of CPU Cores for the created VPS in SolusVM > Virtual Servers > affected VPS > Resources is set to 0.

Cause

This is a SolusVM bug with ID SVM-3194 which is planned to be fixed in future product updates.

Resolution

  1. Log in to SolusVM administrator area.

  2. Open SolusVM > Resellers > Edit Reseller next to the necessary reseller.

  3. Click on Update Reseller.
