Fail to create OpenVZ VPS with EZ template in SolusVM: Conflict: name 101 used as ctid

Symptoms 

• Fail to create OpenVZ VPS with EZ template - VPS is offline after creation in SolusVM
• The following error can be found in /var/log/vzctl.log on OpenVZ node:

  CONFIG_TEXT: Conflict: name 200 used as ctid

Cause

There is an orphan configuration file for VPS with the ID from error /etc/vz/conf/200.conf on the corresponding OpenVZ node.

Resolution

1. Connect to OpenVZ node via SSH
2. Remove the config file:

   # rm -f /etc/vz/conf/200.conf
